You have 1 computer lab in the school with 25 computers. You have access to the computer lab once per week. The lab computers have Microsoft Office, Movie Maker, and Internet Explorer. There is one printer in the lab. The lab has very slow Internet access. There are no computers in your classroom. There is no video camera, web cam, LCD projector, or screen.
1. Due to the limited amount of materials and no computers in the classroom students could begin their research of tornadoes in the library it is here that they need to get an understanding of tornadoes.
2. Since we don't have computers the teacher will have to print the necessary materials on The Night of Terror website to establish more background knowledge of tornadoes and the knowledge specific to the website.
3. Students will have to perform a skit modeling a broadcast instead of a video since we have no web cams or video cameras available.
4. Students can have one day in the computer lab to finish research or create a table to represent the Fujita scale. Students can type up their interview with a tornado survivor using microsoft word when it is there available time in the lab.
